We are seeking an additional dispatcher / office worker to join our team!

** PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION MAY REQUIRE NIGHT AND WEEKEND WORK. **

Job Duties:

• Be able to receive calls from customers and take down appropriate information. (Year / Make / Model of vehicle … Problem with vehicle … Customer Name and Phone Number … Pick Up / Drop Off Addresses, etc…)
• Professionally handle customers that may be difficult to work with.
• Have basic filing and organizing skills.
• Be able schedule various appointments for the shop (Rhino Lining appointments, Trailer repair appointments, etc…)
• Be able to properly open and close the office when needed.
• Have the ability to take payments in person and over the phone (Cash, Card, and Check).
• Able to professionally communicate with clients and other workers.
• Basic house-keeping skills for the office. (Empty trash cans, vacuum floor, clean up after yourself)

Job Qualifications:

At minimum, candidates must have:

• A reliable way to get to and from work.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.

- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS RANDOM DRUG TESTS.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior work experience dispatching
• Familiarity with the automotive industry

- Knowledge of Towbook and Mitchell One software.

The towing industry is typically a fast paced environment with high emotion customers; because realistically, who calls a towing company when they’re having a good day?

Rockwell Towing is a family-owned business that is well known in Moore-County and surrounding areas. We have been serving our community for over 30 years now! Our daily office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30AM – 5:30 PM, but we tow 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. With this being said, we are looking to add an additional dispatcher to the mix. This job may eventually include taking after hours calls and dispatching while away from the office.

Not only does Rockwell Towing provide excellent towing service for customers, but we also do Rhino Linings, install various vehicle accessories, do trailer repairs, etc… Currently we have 2 people handling ALL of the day time dispatching, office work, scheduling, handling any customer that comes into the shop, amongst many other things and she needs help.
